Cancer immunotherapy with dendritic cell therapy

Unlike traditional anti-cancer treatments, GenMed.care’s dendritic cell therapy trains your own immune system to fight the cancer. How do Dendritic cells help against cancer?

Dendritic cells “patrol and track” the entire body to identify foreign and degenerate structures. These are then taken up by the dendritic cells and, in the course of the treatment, broken down into their individual components, which are transferred to the cell surface.

When the dendritic cells then pass through the tissue to the lymph nodes, they show the helper cells (cytotoxic T lymphocytes) the foreign structural features. These helper cells then become active and begin to attack the identified cells to completely destroy them. Dendritic cells also activate other T helper cells that enter the bloodstream to quickly move to the identified foreign structures where they support the cytotoxic T lymphocytes by producing appropriate substances.
